I am an employee of TUM and have downloaded and installed Office 2016 Professional Pro Plus from the Studisoft site. I now need to acitvate it and would like to know, whether that is possible through the eduroam network.

While eduroam is indeed part of the MWN network and could be sufficient to activate your Office product, the firewall settings could block a connection to the KMS server, depending on the situation. We therefore recommend establishing a VPN connection to the MWN network directly, by using programms such as AnyConnect and then activating your Office product.

You can test your connection to the KMS server with the Telnet Tool if necessary.
