Example: a student has created an account using his @matlab.rbg.tum.de addres direct from the Mathworks web page, instead of creating it from TUMOnline. In which case he can't activate his Matlab, because his account is not licensed.

It is possible to manually add the license to your Mathworks account. To do this you have to go to Mathlab Licence centerlog in with your "tumaccount@matlab.rbg.tum.de" and the tum-online credential. Change the region of Germany to any other region that has an English website. Then click on the upper right corner of the page on your profile name. In the drop-down menu choose "Link License, write the activation key (generated from TUMOnline). After doing this the student license 722433 will link to your account.
