Apply for IN/MA student account extension

First one has to determine the type of the email.

1. Account is linked to TUM/LRZ ID

If a student whose account is linked to their TUM / LRZ ID and clicks on the link (https://ucentral.in.tum.de/cgi-bin/re ...) in the email, they will see this Window:

So that his account is extended, he should state the reason for it and send the form.

Then this window appears:

And a ticket arrives in the RBG hotline queue with the subject self-extension user: fmi: kahramat (the content of the ticket is the same for students and employees):

This ticket should be moved to the system queue.

2. Acccount is NOT linked to TUM/LRZ ID

If a student whose account NOTis linked to his TUM / LRZ ID and click on the link (https://ucentral.in.tum.de/cgi-bin/re ...) in the email clicks, he sees this window:

2.1. If he is still a student at TUM and enters his TUM / LRZ ID, his in.tum account will be linked to his TUM account and automatically extended as long as he studies at TUM.

2.2. If he is no longer a student at TUM, but would like to extend his account, he should give good reasons. However, it cannot be guaranteed whether his account will be extended.

In that case, he answers the question "Do you have a TUM ID?" with "No" and fill in the form shown in the screenshot to request an extension.

Then this window appears:

And a ticket arrives in the RBG hotline queue with the subject self-extension user: fmi: kahramat (the content of the ticket is the same for students and employees):

This ticket should be moved to the system queue.

2.2.1. If his in.tum account has already been deactivated and the person can no longer be found in TUMOnline, he should apply for a guest account.
