How to apply for IN/MA employee account extension
If the account of an employee is about to expire or has already expired, the chair Admin first receives a notification, then the employee also receives one of the following types of emails and should also visit the ucentral link and log in.
1.1. If the person in question is still an employee at TUM, then they can enter their LRZ/TUM credentials. With this step, their in.tum/ma.tum account is linked respectively to their TUM account and their in.tum account is always automatically extended as long as they work at the TUM.
If the person does not respond to the emails, their account will be blocked and they will no longer be able to access their account (email, etc.). In this case, they should contact their repective chair administrator so that the admin enters the tumuID, sets the valid flag and cancels the deletion.
1.2. However, if they are no longer a TUM employee, they should contact their chair administrator so that he creates a guest account for them.
More information can be found here: Guest application
