I am returning to work after 1 year. I am trying to run matlab on some of my computers. On two of them I have this problem, where I cannot update the license file (Error 428). I have been waiting to receive an email from Mathworks, but nothing is showing up.

My email is correct, so I really don't know what to do at this point. Do you have any advice?

I would suggest the following: you should not use her TUM Matlab ID, but should register in the MathWorks portal with your 7-digit TUM ID.

This is the “direct” way, so to speak. If that works, you should try to connect the Matlab license to your ID as a self-service. The license number is 722433 if needed.

You can first try deactivating and reactivating your TUM Matlab ID in the TUM portal (i.e. via your business card). Maybe forwarding emails from MathWorks to your TUM mailbox will work.
