Ich bin Mitarbeiter der Fakultät CIT, habe ich eine Berechtigung für den Bezug von Mathematica?
Wenn ja, wie läuft die Sache mit dem Lizenzserver? Wie gehe ich vor? Woher bekomme ich die Installationsdatei?
Muss die Lizenz bezahlt werden?
Die RBG Softwarezentrale ist im Besitz von 20 Netzwerklizenzen, die sowohl für Mitarbeitende als auch Studierende (diese nur in der Rechnerhalle) zur Verfügung stehen. Dabei werden aufgrund der Finanzierung Mitarbeitenden der Fakultät Mathematik bevorrechtigten Zugang eingeräumt, d.h. 6 Lizenzen sind auf jeden Fall für Rechner aus der Mathematik reserviert.

Die Installationsdatei und die gesamte Software erhalten Sie entweder direkt vom Wolfram User Portal oder von uns über das LRZ sync+Share. Ihr Ticket wird hierfür intern weitergeleitet.
Wir stellen zurzeit die Version 13 für die Plattformen Linux/MacOsX/Windows zur Verfügung.
Die Lizenz muss nicht bezahlt werden, ausser man möchte eine eigene Einzelplatzlizenz, die immer (auch offline) auf dem lokalen Rechner verfügbar ist. Hierzu mietet man eine Lizenz für 795 Euro für 3 Jahre vom LRZ (Bestellung läuft aber über uns, über unser Software-Online-Bestellformular).

Zusätzliche Informationen:
Es ist ein Gespräch zwischen Ihnen und Wolfram-Portal (https://user.wolfram.com, Ihr Konto dort) Nach dem Herunterladen und während der Installation der Software werden Sie nach dem Aktivierungsschlüssel gefragt. Dann geht es in einigen Schritten weiter:
1. Gehen Sie zur Seite Ihrer heruntergeladenen Software, klicken Sie auf [Aktivierungsschlüssel anzeigen] und suchen Sie im Feld unter Ihrem richtigen Aktivierungsschlüssel.
2. Geben Sie den Aktivierungsschlüssel in der Frage des Installationsprogramms ein
3. Füllen Sie die verschiedenen Installationsverzeichnisse aus
4. Das Installationsprogramm zeigt eine "MathID" entsprechend Ihrem Computer an und fragt nach einem Kennwort
5. Um das Passwort zu erhalten, klicken Sie auf den kleinen Link "Holen Sie sich jetzt Ihr Passwort für MathLM» ".
6. Geben Sie auf der folgenden Seite den Aktivierungsschlüssel & MathID ein und klicken Sie auf [Passwort generieren].
7. Geben Sie das Passwort in der Installationsfrage ein
8. Beenden Sie anschließend den Installationsvorgang.
Additional Information regarding activation:
It is a conversation between you and Wolfram-Portal (https://user.wolfram.com, your account there) After downloading and while installation of the software, you will be asked for the activation key. Then it proceeds in some steps:
1. Go to the page of your downloaded software, then click on [View Activation Keys] and find in the box below your correct activation key.
2. Fill in the activation key at the installer question
3. Fill in the various installation directories
4. The installer shows a "MathID" according to your machine and asked for a password
5. To get the password klick the small link "Get your password for MathLM now » "
6. On the following page fill in activation key & MathID an klick [Generate Password]
7. Fill in the password at the installer question
8. Then finish the installation process.
The RBG Softwarezentrale is in possession of 20 network licenses, which are available to both staff and students (the latter only in the computer hall). Due to funding, employees of the Faculty of Mathematics are granted preferential access, i.e. 6 licenses are reserved for computers from the Faculty of Mathematics.

You will receive the installation file and the entire software either directly from the Wolfram User Portal or from us via the LRZ sync+Share. Your ticket will be forwarded internally.
We currently provide version 13 for the Linux/MacOsX/Windows platforms.
The license does not have to be paid for, unless you want your own single-user license, which is always available (also offline) on the local computer. For this you can rent a license for 795 Euro for 3 years from the LRZ (order via our software online order form).
